Not Dark of the Moon. That's a Transformers film. Which is out in just a few weeks! But I keep saying the name of one when I mean the other. I shall have to have a word with Michael Bay about handling his film titles better in relation to British family SF shows.

So, the new Doctor Who logo is unveiled.

Hmm...I know many won't like it, but I don't mind it. At least the main one. The 'abbreviated' version (and you'll have to go through the link above to see), may just be a little cheesy even for me, but I more shrug at it than hate it.

Actually, Lenny Henry's 'parody' Doctor isn't that far from the eventual real Ninth Doctor.

Leather jacket, kinda snappish and obnoxious...and it even looks like he's going to get off with his companion at the end.

Maybe I'm not the only one this has happened to. But it shows me, at least, as having been mentally groomed by the history of electronic media.
